Legacy PACE Drivers (iLok) crashes and BSOD Windows 10, couldn't install Avid Media Composer v8.x (RESOLVED)

Hey all, I want to share with you my nightmare experience attempting to install Avid MC 8.5.3 on my new Windows 10 machine, and share the solution I found I couldn't install Avid MC v8.x on my Windows 10 workstation due to MC forcing me to install an outdated and unsupported PACE Driverst. Every time I would run the Avid MC installer, when it asked for a reboot after the install completed, my computer would not boot back up. It would repeatedly crash on the "dots spinning in a circle" startup screen, turn into "attempting repairs," and then bring me to the boot recovery menu.  After some experimenting I found the culprit: I began the installation of Avid MC only to where it installs Legacy PACE Drivers, and didn't actually install Avid MC v8.x. It asked me for a reboot and then the same crash sequence happened. This told me that Legacy PACE Drivers was the cause of the crashing. MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) is the largest packet a network device transmits. The best MTU setting for NETGEAR equipment is often just the default value. First we will try to remove read only attribute from the specific drive.
