TDS - RPU (Return Preparation Utility) and Windows 7

Follow below steps :-
1.  You must have Administrator rights
2. Go to Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Click on "Change User Account Control Settings"
3.  Set to "Never Notify"
4.  Now re-install your software and you will be able to install successfully..

How to install NSDL RPU in Windows 7 

Now-a-days,  Windows 7 is operating systems in new computers.    Installation of NSDL e-tds R.P.U.  in windows 7 requires some knowledge for installation.   A person who knows "Run as Administrator " do not face any difficulty in installation.  Two times "Run as administrator" is required for proper installation.  Right click on the step up file and use Run as Administrator.

  1. at the time of installation of setup.
  2. First time running of R.P.U.

Legacy PACE Drivers (iLok) crashes and BSOD Windows 10, couldn't install Avid Media Composer v8.x (RESOLVED)

Hey all, I want to share with you my nightmare experience attempting to install Avid MC 8.5.3 on my new Windows 10 machine, and share the solution I found I couldn't install Avid MC v8.x on my Windows 10 workstation due to MC forcing me to install an outdated and unsupported PACE Driverst. Every time I would run the Avid MC installer, when it asked for a reboot after the install completed, my computer would not boot back up. It would repeatedly crash on the "dots spinning in a circle" startup screen, turn into "attempting repairs," and then bring me to the boot recovery menu.  After some experimenting I found the culprit: I began the installation of Avid MC only to where it installs Legacy PACE Drivers, and didn't actually install Avid MC v8.x.
